Resol'nare and other Mandalorian values

Mandalorians place little importance on birthplace or citizenship, and so have no official "state" as understood by galactic politics. Mandalorian society is a classical meritocracy, where rank and status mean nothing in comparison to a being's actions and achievements. Mandalorian clans are led by chieftains?usually senior members of the clans chosen for their wisdom?and the loose affiliation and cooperation between them was the closest the Mandalorians had to a standard government; the clans and their chieftains are all subordinate to the Mand'alor, the one individual recognized as sole ruler of the Mandalorians and the nearest Mandalorian parallel for a proper head-of-state. In keeping with their aversion to a centralized government, Mandalorians also have no palaces or offices for their leaders to occupy, and most business on Mandalore was conducted at the Oyu'baat tapcafe in Keldabe, usually over drinks.

Gender means little in Mandalorian society, and there was scarcely any distinction present in their language. Males and females are on equal footing, although they often take different roles. Mandalorian males are all expected to be warriors, and are responsible for training their sons to be the same. Females are expected to have the same martial skills as males, and are responsible for the training of daughters. They are also expected to be able to cook, and to care for any young children and their home if the men are away. But if they have no children dependent on them, females fight side-by-side with the men on the battlefield. In accordance with this mentality, the desired Mandalorian female is not so much beautiful or graceful, as physically strong and enduring.

Armor:

The thing most often associated with the Mandalorians is their armor. In Mando'a, it is known as beskar'gam, or "iron skin", a show of just how central it was to a Mandalorian's life. Armor is greatly valued, especially if made from the near indestructible metal beskar, and is often passed down through generations. Aside from it's defensive capabilities, armor served another function: in a group formed from so many different species, often times it is only the armor that displayed an outward sign of the culture that bound these individuals together. The paint scheme of a Mandalorian's armor occasionally represented a soldier's state of mind, or their personal mission. For instance, sand-gold represented a quest for vengeance, while black indicated a desire for justice. This is not always the case, however, and Mandalorians would sometimes decorate their armor in colors they simply held a preference for; blue and green are common choices. Whereas many soldiers prefer the inconspicuousness afforded by camouflage, Mandalorians believe in the saying, "It's one thing to see us coming, it's another to do something about it. </div>

MandalMotors was a Mandalorian company located on the Outer Rim world of Mandalore. Founded by the Mandalorian general Gustav Zenlav, MandalMotors grew to be a large corporation, headed by a board of executives under the authority of a single CEO. The company was headquartered in Mandalore's capital city, Keldabe, where it's hundred-meter-tall tower adorned with their unmistakable business logo became a well-known landmark around the city. MandalMotors was primarily a manufacturer of starships, although the Mandalorian corporation was also notable for the creation of several speeder models, gunships, and at least one class of ground-based tank. Over time, MandalMotors developed a reputation for its outstanding ship designs and powerful military vessels.

A largely neutral company, MandalMotors was a driving force behind the economy of Mandalore, and sold its many products to any interested party willing to pay the necessary credits. Mandalorian police units took to the company's Pursuer-class enforcement ships, while the radical Mandalorian Death Watch group were known to make use of Kom'rk-class fighter/transports. When Mandalore the Ressurector came to power late in the Clone Wars, the Mandalore and his army seized MandalMotors' facilities solely for use by the Confederacy of Independent Systems, with whom he had aligned the Mandalorians against the Galactic Republic in their galaxy-spanning war. Under the Galactic Empire that was born from the Republic, MandalMotors came under the sway of an Imperial advisor forcefully placed on the company's board, and produced dungeon ships for the galactic regime. After the Empire fell, MandalMotors became an ally of the New Republic, supplying several member worlds with military crafts. When a lode of the precious and incredibly resistant iron ore known as beskar was found on Mandalore in the aftermath of the Yuuzhan Vong War, MandalMotors' work with the rare metal became the catalyst that elevated the Mandalorian world into a state of economic resurgence.

MandalMotors is currently under the sole lead of Mandalore the Valiant, Mikael Nox.
