<I>Rakata Prime, around 30,000 BBY</I>

Nightfall had already fallen around Rakatan Prime and the construction machines were finally turned off to give the slaves a rest for the day. The Rakatan slave masters retired to their homes around the planet but still kept a good eye on one of the moons that had a diamond like shadow in the center of it, their greatest weapon imaginable. Majority of the slaves lived in ragged huts and tents for their Rakatan masters forbid them from using any type of technology for the fear of a possible uprising. There were of course, trillions of slaves and only a few billion Rakatans.

The Degorians, a sub-species of the Rakatan and also native to Rakatan Prime were one of the first, if not the first, species to be enslaved. However for ten of thousands of years, they had gotten used to their slavery for that?s what the only knew. The Degorians were tall creatures, a Degorian had half green skin and half black skin, they had bug like antennas and burning colored hair and eyes, Degorians also had small lizard like tails. They looked like insectoid like humans, but they were a peaceful like people but also very intoned with the force for their special relationship with it universally.

Around the Degorian slave sector all were out in the center of the small village to rejoice after a day well done of work on the Rakatan's greatest machine. A big fire was going while others sat down in their rags on the wooden benches they had made for themselves. A few played primitive instruments of a two stringed guitar and flute while others sang songs in their own language. The other Degorians humbly exchanged personal treasures and food to their fellow friends and family. However all looked when a number of young Degorian females began to dance next to the light of the fire, indeed today was a fine day for tradition.

The dancers danced with grace and honor, they wore ceremonial robes, but were rags by modern standard but it was whatever their parents could knit though it was a great privilege to be a dancer. The youngest dancer was only 14 in basic years and had many markings of tradition Degorian symbols on her arms and legs which showed how far they were knowledgeable in their culture, but she also wore a headdress the elders had given to her earlier, she was beautiful to them. She was young S'et'ne'gl'ould of the Astuto tribe. Only the most beautiful and graceful woman could be the dancer of the tribe.

S?et?ne was known as the jewel of the Degorians to the Rakatans. Most of the slave holders wanted to wait till she was of age before they would rip her from her family and <I>share</I> her among their fellow Rakatans. The Degorians were not ignorant to what the Rakatans do with their females when they reach adulthood and sheltered young S?et?ne knowing what fate may befall her. However today was simply a day for relaxation and rejoicing for putting another day behind them. Many enjoyed watching S?et?ne and the other girls dance. It gave them courage that even though they were in captivity they had not forgotten who they were even though the Rakatans tried to put an end to it.

Just outside the village however, a few Rakatan slave holders were watching the celebration from a distance. They were easily disgusted by the Degorians and hated them. No matter how hard they try to break them they still celebrate after a hard day. Though a few Rakatans began to get a little antsy after brandishing their blades and headed toward the center of the Degorian slave sector where the celebration was taking place. Rakatans were overconfident and egotistical creatures and they had no fear of the Degorians and easily opposed their will on them if they ever got bored.

?That?s enough of this!? One Rakatan said as held up his blade while those dancing and playing instruments abruptly stopped to look at their masters. ?Your music is irritating us. It must silence now! All of you?get to your quarters now!? He shouted. Most Degorians in the celebration merely hung their heads low and obeyed. It was a usual sight when the Rakatans ordered the Degorians around; they mostly stopped what they were doing and simply obeyed. The celebration, in that instant, was ruined that quickly and easily.

A fully grown Degorian woman who had the look of age on her rushed up to young S?et?ne and took her hand. ?Come on child, we best not upset the masters.? The Rakatans were often unpredictable and could easily become hostile. The Degorians who were lucky enough to reach old age learned the hard way to never ever get a Rakatan upset in the least bit. S?et?ne merely nodded as she followed her mother toward the huts. She kept her eyes on the Rakatans however. When her mother saw her starring at them she gave S?et?ne a light pinched on the shoulder. S?et?ne jumped a bit but it got her attention. ?Do you forget why your father is no longer with us? The Rakatans don?t like when we make eye contact with them. S?et?ne didn?t say a word and just hung her head low. She was perfectly obedient, most Degorians children were. S?et?ne felt a cold chill run up her spine each time the Rakatans spoke, she was a fearful girl. She was deathly afraid of death after seeing her father mercilessly ripped the shreds by those beats of slaveholders.

?You there! Stop!?

S?et?ne?s mother stopped instantly when she heard the Rakatan call to her. Two Rakatans warriors approached her and S?et?ne?s mother pushed her daughter behind her back so the Rakatans may not notice her. S?et?ne couldn?t tame curiosity though and poked one eye out to peer at her masters. The Rakatans smiled as they eyed S?et?ne?s mother as one felt her cheek with one scaly hand. ?For a dirty Degorian, you?re not half bad. I?m sure the other Rakatans will learn to just <I>love</I> you.? He said smoothly. S?et?ne?s mother merely turned her head to resist the Rakatans, but when the Rakatan saw her close her eyes to him he got defended. ?Don?t turn away from me, wretch!? he said as the Rakatan smacked her so hard on the cheek that it knocked her down. Young S?et?ne squealed as her mother fell and knelt down to her side to try and figure out if she was okay. S?et?ne had perked the Rakatans interest however. ?What do we have here??

The other Rakatan grabbed S?et?ne?s wrists with his hands and tugged her to her feet. S?et?ne looked frightened as the same Rakatan that checked out her mother checked her out as well. ?She isn?t bad for a teenage Degorian. I?m sure the others will pay for her. Alright, take her.? He said as he turned around. The Rakatan who had S?et?ne, kicked her and told her to march as he tightened his grip on her wrists. S?et?ne went teary eyed and she walked against her will with the Rakatans, she glanced back at her mother who was trying to open her eyes after that heavy slap. S?et?ne?s mother felt helpless as she saw the Rakatans take her daughter away. ?S?et?ne!? She shouted.

A few Degorians heard the cry and turned to see S?et?ne being taken away by the Rakatans. S?et?ne was their promising Youngling and the Rakatans were taking her to do only the force knows. A few Degorians were angered but realized there was nothing they could do. S?et?ne watched as the Degorians only starred but did nothing as she was being taken away. The Rakatans had such a tight grip on them that they couldn?t do a thing even if they wanted to. S?et?ne didn?t wish to be taken and without thinking lifted her head and sunk her sharp teeth within one of the arms that the Rakatan who was taking her away had. The Rakatan yelled as he released his grip on S?et?ne, who scurried away when he did. ?That little Degorian bitch bit me!? He shouted as he unsheathed his sword he had with him.

The Rakatan warrior followed S?et?ne as she ran behind the crowd of Degorians. ?Get out of my way worms!? He shouted as the Degorians simply looked at each other than back at him, they wouldn?t move. The Rakatan got frustrated then lifted his blade. ?I said move!? he shouted again as she slashed one Degorian male down right in front of him and the others. The other Degorians were horrified seeing their comrade dead on the floor but it only fueled their rage against the Rakatans. ?Well? Are you going to move or do another one of you wish to die!?? The Degorians tightened up and then charged at the Rakatan warrior whom was taken by surprise.

?Call the high guards; we have a revolt on our hands!? One Rakatan said seeing the Degorians beating his comrade to death. The Rakatan took out his stun baton then ran in there. ?Its time to get rid of these pests once and for all!? he shouted as he smashed a Degorian in the face with his baton. Alarms sounded through the immediate area and Rakatans with battle armor came rushing over.

Young S?et?ne was frightened seeing the Degorians taking any weapon they could find then rushing at the Rakatans, S?et?ne was soon grabbed by the wrist and whipped around only to feel relieved that it was her mother. ?Come on, you must leave. The Elder hut is safe.? Her mother took off a necklace that was around her neck that bore a strange azure crystal at the end then placed it in S?et?ne?s hands. ?Take this to them. Go on, hurry!? She said as she pushed her daughter toward the direction of the Elder?s hut.

S?et?ne was confused, She looked back seeing her mother rush off into the fray only to get the feeling like it was the last time she?d get to see her. Regardless, S?et?ne dashed off toward the hut with all her speed. She could hear screams, moans, fire, and the Rakatan?s machines behind her. She could only imagine the gruesome sight at the foot of the revolt. Near the hut however S?et?ne stopped seeing a Rakatan warrior just ahead of her whom carried a double side blade He turned and faced S?et?ne with an interested grin. ?Come here girl.? He commanded.

The Degorian simply eyed him then dashed off in the other direction. The Rakatan got mad and chased after her, S?et?ne tried to avoid him but he was simply too fast for the young Degorian. Suddenly though, there was a loud sound and the Rakatan was slammed into a hut next to him. S?et?ne turned seeing an elder Degorian with his arm extended. She had heard stories of a the elders being able to use a mysterious power, a power the Rakatan?s ultimate weapon was trying to harness. The girl stared at the old man for a moment only to have him look at her with a warm look. ?Are you alright, my dear?? He asked. S?et?ne only gave a silent nod, her body shook from all that was happening around her and the elder took notice. ?Alright, come quickly into the hut.? He said as he held the cloth door open then ushered the young Degorian inside.

S?et?ne took a large breath then gazed at was in the hut. All that resided inside was a few burning candles, a large circle on the floor, and six Degorian elders sitting along the circle on the floor with a humbled look. She was confused even more; she had never been inside the Elder?s hut before. However before she could see anything else she turned to the elder who helped her and showed him the crystal her mother gave her. ?My?my mom wanted you to have this?? She said in a timid voice.

The elder glanced at the crystal and took it in his hands. ?I see, your mother doesn?t expect to live much longer?? He said with low hopes. He then gripped the crystal tightly and faced the other elders. ?Those Rakatan beasts are killing our brethren out there. I fear our time in this galaxy may end here by this night.? He said followed by the murmurs of the other elders.

One Degorian elder was stroking his long beard as he looked at S?et?ne then the elder next to her. ?Those Rakatans only want us because of our force-sensitive nature. Once their weapon in finished they won?t need us around anymore. This was inevitable. Perhaps we should do what we discussed some years ago?? He inquired. The murmurs of the other elders continued.

Another, more heavier elder, shook his head and spoke up. ?We cannot say that. The Rakatan won't kill us just yet, their weapon is still incomplete. They may kill a number of us but they may keep us??

?Elder Ki?I'm?mo, are you suggesting letting the Rakatan slaughter what remains of our people while you hide in this hut? The Rakatans will kill <I>all</I> of us. They have enough power to fuel their machine, they don?t need us now.? One Elder said, the heavier one merely faced downwards in shame and scared of what may happen to him. ?I?m afraid we have no choice but do what we had discussed. A lot one of us will survive?its better than none.? The Hut shook from a blast coming from outside, the Rakatans were out for blood from that revolt.

?Agreed.? The Other elders said but one still stood up. ?Who will it be? Who will take our power and the survival of our race them him or her? It must be someone?untouched by greed and pure enough.? He said as he looked around the room to the elders who was unsure of themselves. Soon each of the elders turned and look at the small Degorian female, S?et?ne.

?No no no!? One Elder shouted as he knew what the others were thinking. ?She is too young and unknowing. She wouldn?t know what to do with such power. The Rakatans could take her and use her as a core for their machine!? He shouted but the others faced downward knowing he may be right.

The elder next to S?et?ne gripped her shoulder seeing the young Degorian look up him. ?I think she?ll do fine. The Rakatans will be looking far and wide for us, S?et?ne will be able to slip passed us. They wouldn?t suspect a young girl to have all of our power.? He said, the elders looked at him then S?et?ne. The elder was right and they decided to go onto it. The elder next to S?et?ne took a large breath having received his answer in silence. He pushed the young girl toward the inner circle and then took a seat around the circle with the other elders.

?Wait!? S?et?ne shouted as she became frightened on what may happen to her. ?I don?t know about this?I mean?why me??

?Because you are the Degorian?s best hope for a tomorrow.? The long bearded elder said. S?et?ne was still confused and began to become even more scared as the Elders silenced themselves and began meditating. One by one, the elders began to glow bright blue as a beam of light encased S?et?ne within the circle. The young Degorians began to feel a very painful burning sensation.

The crystal her mother gave S?et?ne floated out of the hand of the elder whom she gave it to and levitated over to the young Degorian. S?et?ne?s hand seemed to move by itself as her left hand opened up flat. The crystal hovered above her hand then embedded itself, painfully, into her hand. The young girl screamed in pain as her hand glowed bright red and the crystal seemed to form a gem stuck within her palm. Soon S?et?ne felt a gust of air surrounded her body then finally enter through her palm to the point S?et?ne thought her body was going to explode.

S?et?ne closed her eyes tight from the unending pain but soon opened one eye and when a voice rang out to her:

<div align=center><I> "Young S'et'ne. We are on the route to extinction. Inorder to keep even one member of our race and culture alive we must sacrifice ourselves to you. We will give our remaining force and life power not to the Rakatan's weapon of terror, but to you. With our power time will not corrupt you nor claim you and you will see what your eyes cannot far better then any of us. However young S'et'ne, you are not immortal. For the stab of a blade or the infection of a virus can still harm you. Use our power well and do not forget who you are."</I></div>

Soon the beam faded and all returned to normal once more. S?et?ne panted hard and looked at the elders whom weren?t moving at all. The burning sensation she was feeling subsided and the young Degorian walked out of the circle. ?Is?it?over?? She asked but received no answer from anyone. She went over to the elder whom had helped her and tapped him. S?et?ne shrieked when the elder fall over completely lifeless. They had given up their lives for the girl. The Degorian had never felt so much guilt in her life but that soon wiped itself from her mind when the Rakatan?s blade ripped through the feeble door.

S?et?ne turned around seeing two Rakatan warriors letting themselves in. ?What the hell? They?re dead, but how?? The then noticed S?et?ne standing over the lifeless elder. ?You, girl, what happened?!? The young Degorian didn?t give them an answer which easily angered the warrior. ?Come here you!? He said as he reached for the young girl. S?et?ne became frightened as the Rakatan reached for her and unknowing held her hand out with the gem inside of it. Suddenly, the Rakatan was blown out of the hut after crashing into his comrade.

The young Degorian opened her eyes and saw the Rakatans knocked out on ground just outside the hut. She breathed hard as she looked at the gem within her hand. ?Did?I do that?? However S?et?ne could hear footsteps getting louder near the hut and rushed off before any more Rakatans could come and try to take her. It was painful to leave her home and people behind but S?et?ne had no choice and left the village as quickly as she could and entered the Rakatan desert that was just next to it.

The desert was hot and devoid of any life. S?et?ne had been wandering for hours without food or water. No Rakatan would go in the desert for only death awaits one whom enters. The young Degorian feared her time would end more quickly then the elders thought it would. She was tired, frightened, and thirsty. The Degorian trudged through the hand which burned her feet to the bone but as this happened, her hate for the Rakatans started to take shape within her. The slavers who killed her family and forced this situation upon her. The more she thought about it, the more her hate swelled up within her. ?Those?dirty?disgusting beasts?I?ll kill them?I swear I?ll them all?? She told herself over and over.

Finally though, S?et?ne couldn?t go on and collapsed into the sand. She gripped a few grains of sand then lowered her head against it. The sun beamed down on her fragile body as she felt herself burning. ?I failed?you?guys?I can't go on??

S?et?ne lay frying on the sand clinging to life when a heavily cloaked humanoid approached her. He had his hood up so his face was concealed in darkness. He placed his hand on S?et?ne back then rolled her over and felt her pulse, faint. The figure picked up the young Degorian and placed her on his shoulder. The man seemed untouched by the heat which was rather odd but he simply walked further into the desert with the Degorian passed out on his shoulder.

Soon S?et?ne awoke feeling grass beneath her and hearing running water just beside her. The young girl sat up suddenly finding herself in an oasis within the desert. The Degorian scrambled over to the stream beside her and dove her face in, taking as many drinks as possible. S?et?ne took her head out and smoothed her long wet hair back. He looked at the red and orange coloring of her hair then took a few more sips of water.

?You?re awake?? S?et?ne turned around suddenly after hearing the voice and gazed upon the one who said it. The man was still draped in his black robes and his face was still concealed. However the Degorian girl didn?t respond to him. The man only laughed darkly then tossed her a fruit. ?Eat; you need your strength back.? S?et?ne caught the fruit, sniffed it, then looked back the man wondering if she could trust him.

S?et?ne looked at him with a confused look but the man simply turned away and starred at the desert just ahead of the oasis. S?et?ne looked down at the fruit again then took a bite. She was starving so she ate the fruit quite quickly after she determined it didn?t taste bad. S?et?ne wondered about the man though so when she finished her fruit she began to walk slowly closer to him, trying to examine him.

The man suddenly turned around again which made S?et?ne jump backwards but the figure only gave another dark laugh. ?You are probably wandering who I am.? He spoke in a strange tone but S?et?ne merely nodded. ?I don?t really have a name but if you must call me something?call me?<I>Bogan</I>.? He answered.

S?et?ne was unsure but the man did save her life so she assumed he deserved a little gratitude. ?Tha-thank you.? She said in a timid voice.

Bogan laughed darkly once more. ?No need to thank me, Youngling, but if you really want to show me a token of your thanks?might I gain permission to see your left palm?? S?et?ne was disturbed that Bogan knew about the gem embedded into her hand but she guessed it was because he must?ve searched her before she regained consciousness. However, reluctantly, she outstretched her hand a bit then opened up her palm. A rush of force began blowing the trees violently and Bogan?s garbs as he walked closer to inspect the gem; it seemed to force blowing things away didn?t affect him as much as it did the Rakatans warriors.

The mysterious man placed his dark gloved finger on the gem and the violently force subsided and all returned normal again. ?I see?you?re untrained. You don?t know how to control the power coursing within you. Tell me, girl, do you know what this gem is?? S?et?ne looked at him for a moment then silently shook her head. ?It?s a Force Gem. When someone has these gems it usually means the person has a low midi-chlorian count and is very weak in the force. These gems amplify the force tremendously but it only works if you drain the life force out of those very powerful. By the strength of the Push you were creating?there is much power within this gem.?

S?et?ne remained quiet as the man spoke, she didn?t quite understand him. He was saying words she had never heard before. ?What?do I have to do to?control this power?? She asked in her same timid voice.

Bogan looked up to her and chuckled darkly once more. ?All you have to do?is listen everything I say.? </div>

Part II

It was a fuzzy, almost too fuzzy to make out. An image suddenly appeared, an image of Rakatans dying from some sort of virus. The Rakatans were dying and their empire was crumbling. Suddenly everything turned black. Then once again an image slowly came back into view, this time it was of human men and women fighting with strange sticks that glowed bright colors. It turned back almost instantly once again and almost on queue another came in clearer and clearer. A heavily cloaked man and a tall besides him entered the Rakatan death machine the Degorians were forced to build, they too her glow sticks, red ones.

Finally S?et?ne sat up suddenly from her slumber and breathed heavily. ?What?were those images?was it dreams??? She asked herself as she tried to remember what she had seen in her sleep. S?et?ne stopped her heavy breathing than looked around, it was still dark. The Young Degorian had been sleeping on the ground next to the steam with a large leaf as a blanket on top of her. S?et?ne calmed down and leaned back taking one last large breath. ?What a strange dream?? She sighed.

?Dream,? said Bogan approaching from the shadows. ?What dream?? He asked.

S?et?ne looked up at Bogan, whose face was still concealed by the hood, then faced back to the ground. ?I don?t know. Rakatans were dying from some sickness?people with these weird glow sticks were fighting. Two of them were onboard the Rakatan?s death machine?.it was probably my mind acting up.? S?et?ne rationalized.

Bogan was silent for a moment. ?Dreams are sometimes not dreams but visions. Visions of what was, what is, and what will be.? There was a silence for a moment then Bogan patted the young Degorian?s head. ?Do not dwell too long about it. Some can get lost in dreams?? He said as he walked away and disappeared back into the shadows.

S?et?ne watched him walk away and fade into the shadows. His answer didn?t satisfy her but she become somewhat afraid to sleep again for they might return. So S?et?ne took the leaf off of her then dunked her face into the stream to wake her up. She smoothed her fiery hair behind her head like before and tapped her thin antennas that stuck out through her hair. The Degorian stood up and felt her small tail that seemed to hurt badly from laying on it. S?et?ne faced forward once more and saw her reflection in the water.

S?et?ne gazed further into her reflection but it started to shift. Her reflection soon turned into a reflection of another person. It was strange, it was of a man whose head was covered by a black hood but his face was gray, old, wrinkled, and decayed. Truly, he was ugly. However he seemed to eye the young Degorian then suddenly pointed his hand at her. S?et?ne was curious of what he was about to do but soon her eyes widened as a bolt of lightning shot out from her finger tips. S?et?ne shrieked and stumbled back only to be caught by Bogan before she hit the ground.

?I can?t leave for one moment without you causing some scene, can I?? He said but S?et?ne didn?t respond. Cautiously she pushed off of Bogan and carefully looked at the stream again, but to her relief?it was only her reflection once more.

The girl sighed and closed her eyes. ?What?s going on with me?why am I seeing these things??? S?et?ne asked in a whisper. She soon faced up to Bogan who seemed fixated on the stream just before them.

?Interesting?? Bogan whispered underneath the darkness of the hood. ?You Degorians are very unique creatures?I can see why the Rakatans sought to enslave you all.? He pushed S?et?ne him as he took a look at the stream. Soon the same image S?et?ne saw started to replay which made the young girl shriek and hide behind Bogan. When the vision ended Bogan only chuckled and faced the young Degorian once more. ?You have a gift my dear, many practice all their lives to gain Precognition but you seem to have it and not realize it.?

?Pre-Precognition?? The timid S?et?ne asked while looking at Bogan then back at the stream.

Bogan nodded then faced the stream as well. ?The power to see the future; which I too have but it does not come randomly but when I will it. It?s possible for you as well.? He said then witnessed the troubled look of the Degorian, it made Bogan chuckle darkly once more. This was all too amusing for a man of personality. ?There are many powers both foreseeing and destructive...all I can teach you myself?to control your visions and to avenge your people from the horrid Rakatans?? His voice was dark and smooth yet comforting to someone like S?et?ne.

S?et?ne gripped the rims of his robes tightly as her eyes widened. ?Avenge??? She whispered under her breath. She knew deep down she?d like nothing more than to destroy those filthy creatures. ?You mean?.I can give those Rakatans the same beatings they gave me?? She asked looking up at Bogan.

Bogan nodded very slowly. ?The very same or even worse if you wanted to, my dear. All you have to do?is pledge loyalty to me forever?and ever.? Bogan could see her potential; he knew this Degorian was the creature he had been looking for. ?Once you do that?all the Rakatans in this galaxy will fall but the sheer snap?of your fingers.?

S?et?ne faced downwards and smile widely as she thought about revenge against the Rakatans. The markings all over her body began to glow an eerie red as she thought more and more about the havoc she?d give them. The sky began to darken and a strange gust of wind started to rip through the little oasis as S?et?ne faced upwards to Bogan with a devilish smile on her face. ?Yes?give me the power to teach those brutes a lesson?if you can do that?I?ll be your servant?<I>forever</I>!?

Bogan paused for a moment as his cloak blew with the gust. ??Very well?? He whispered as his right hand began to glow a blinding gold. The gust of wind started to become more violet while S?et?ne starred strangely at Bogan?s glowing. ?This may sting a little?? Said Bogan in his usual dark voice as his bright glowing hand soon clasped around neck. The young Degorian began to gag and wrapped her hands around Bogan?s tightly gripped hand and tried to pull it off to no avail.

A long glowing rope started to emit down from Bogan?s hand and wrap itself around S?et?ne body. The rope traveled down then wrapped itself around the Degorian?s waist then travel up to her neck only to wrap around that as well. The rope made one more journey to the waist forming a glowing gold ?X? over her stomach then finally stopped. Bogan then released his grip and his glowing hand faded as well as the rope that wrapped itself around S?et?ne. The rope soon revealed itself to be golden chain and in the center of the ?X? over her stomach was a lock with a star-shaped keyhole.

Bogan began to chuckle softly as the wind died down and the sky lightened up once more. ?You?re mine forever S?et?ne?forever my apprentice?my servant??

anyway for those who don't know this is like a chronicle of one of my characters, Ashca. Ashca is a prophet of the darkside, if not the first. She lived during the time of the Infinite Empire and shapped many events during SW history. She is the base and start of all my character's histories and the ever looming presense around the galaxy basically like...one of the Force's angels...weird sounding but the best analogy I could think of o.o

I'm just writing her humble beginning. </div>

Part III

Darkness, nothing but darkness could be seen for a moment. Then soon a glimmer of light sparked in the distance of the darkness only to spread to form a very blurry image. The image turned into a frightening sight as a long black dragon scowled through the darkness toward the light. Its red beady could strike fear into anyone who gazed directly into them. The dragon thrashed about violent trying to break free from the light that now trapped it. However the serpent soon stood still and shook violently, changing but changing into what? The dragon grew paler as it took the shape of a human with long flowing black hair. Out of darkness a small glimmer of light was found and from that sprouted a human being. But who was this person and what did this mean?

The images soon faded and only S?et?ne stood in the abyss of nothing. She slowly looked down to see her glowing golden chains. The young Degorian tried her mightiest to pull them off but to no avail. The more she tugged the tighter they got. She fell to her knees trying but feeling her stomach tighten each time which only made the young girl give up hope of getting the chains Bogan bestowed upon her off.

?Are in need of help, miss?? S?et?ne looked over to her right only to see a man draped in brown robes with silver linings. He had long brown hair with a goatee but had a friendly face. S?et?ne didn?t know what he was doing in this abyss with her but he looked non-threatening enough. ?Let me see what I can do?? His voice was calming almost soothing. S?et?ne only let her hands fall to the ground while she remained on her knees. The strange man?s left hand glowed as a small ray of light shot out to strike the chains but alas?no avail, the chains held. ?Darkside magic?must be...? He whispered.

S?et?ne fiery eyes looked into his. ?Magic??? She asked however the man soon began to fade leaving S?et?ne alone in the abyss once more. ??darkside?? She whispered to herself as she looked around lazily to see if anyone else was there.

<I>?S?et?ne?"</I> A voice from all over the abyss cried. <I>?S?et?ne, wake up.?</I> The Degorian girl looked all around but couldn?t find where the voice was from. <I>"S?et?ne!?</I>

Soon the young girl snapped out of the abyss and awoke with the rays of a hot sun on her eyes. S?et?ne sat up to find herself on a moving cart being pulled by a strange red creature she had never seen before. S?et?ne turned to the side to find the ever mysterious Bogan facing her; she still could not see his face through the darkness. ?You passed out after I placed the chains on you?I had to move you before we lost precious time.? He said as he looked straight forward.

S?et?ne looked at her body seeing the chains still well attached to her; it wasn?t a dream like she half-hoped. ?Where?where are we?? She asked.

She heard Bogan chuckle darkly as usual. ?My dear?welcome to Korriban.? S?et?ne gazed forward seeing a green valley and many of the strange red-skinned creatures walking baskets of fruits and pieces of pottery. The Degorian gazed near the ends of the valley only to see many of the creatures dressed in armor and carrying swords by their sides, many of which were starring back at S?et?ne . ?Stay close to me.? S?et?ne turned her head quickly to look at Bogan. ?They don?t take too kindly to outsider but with me?you shall do fine.?

The armor-bearing red-skinned creatures near the end of the valley spoke for a moment than a few approached the cart. One who was in front lifted his strange sword high as he gave a menacing look at the one pulling the cart with the Degorian within. ?Halt outsider!? He spoke with a dark voice that could rival Bogan?s. ?This valley is under the jurisdiction of Adas?s militia, none may enter without special permission.? He spoke. It was fairly easy for S?et?ne to understand, they spoke Rakatan but in a slurred accent.

Bogan moved from the side of the cart and approached the red-skinned creatures. He lifted his hand then waved it quickly near the creature?s face. ?We are permitted to be here. Adas has been expecting us and you will fetch him for us.? S?et?ne watched in amazement as the creature repeated what Bogan had said then left with the others. Bogan chuckled darkly once more and returned to the side of the cart. ?Sith, brutal but nature but also very weak-minded.? He waved his hand once more and the Sith cart-puller continued.

The Degorian was speechless, that must have been some of the magic the strange man in her dream spoke of or another use of this ?force?. S?et?ne eyed the Sith creatures only to have them eye her back. The young Degorian was actually relieved to see no trance of Rakatan technology or the species besides the language they spoke. However this planet was strange to her, she never knew anything outside her home of Rakatan Prime. There were no big machines, whips, no task masters, and no roaring ships heading toward the horizon. In a way it was comforting, she didn?t wish to return to her life of slavery.

S?et?ne sighed and merely laid down again in the cart feeling the softness of straw that was used as a pillow. She had lost her family and somehow journeyed all the way to another planet without noticing. She knew she had a big future ahead of her but S?et?ne simply let the words of the elder fill her mind which was to never forget whom she was. S?et?ne soon felt Bogan?s clothed hand rub her cheek. She smiled faintly as she let her eyes close, in that moment for a long while she felt safe and at peace. ?Sleep my servant?you journey has yet to begin??

With S?et?ne, fast asleep, Bogan walked ahead of the cart and motioned for the Sith cart puller to stop which he ultimately did. Once the art stopped a very large charcoaled-color creature stepped in front of it with his battle-ax drawn ready for anything. ?Can it be? Bogan...have you come to whisper poison in the ears of the false lords once again?? Said the large Sith as he looked down at Bogan through his encasing armor.

Bogan cackled for a moment than faced upwards to the Sith. ?Lord Adas, always a pleasure. On the contrary actually?I bring you a gift.? He said then looked at the sleeping S?et?ne. ?The last of the Degorians, one with great hidden power.? He said.

Adas was silent for a moment as she hunched over the cart to see the sleeping girl. ?She is young?I have no need for a child. If I am to unify the Sith, I need warriors, Bogan, not children!? The large Sith shouted as he looked at Bogan with spite in his eyes. ?Hidden power or not??

?Fret not, all <I>powerful</I> lord.? Bogan said sarcastically only to feed into Adas?s ego. ?The girl has other uses. She has a power the Rakatans want, a worthy bargaining chip to get those creatures on your side?not only that but she has the gift of foresight.?

Adas looked intrigued. ?I see?and what are you wanting in exchange for the child?? He asked knowing there must be something Bogan was wanting.

Bogan clasped his clothed-covered hands together. ?See it as my gift to you.? Bogan said humbly as he moved out of the way of the cart. ?I only request that your lordship train her how to wield a sword for I sense you will need her to very soon?? Bogan said then suddenly busted into a dark gust of wind.

Adas instinctively raised his sword to guard himself but lowered it to find Bogan gone. He scoffed. ?That man is a mystery?? He said then looked at the cart-puller. ?Bring the girl to my encampment?see to it she see Backa who?ll teach her a few things about holding a blade. I feel?a terrible wind arising?? He said looking up the sky then began to darken? </div>
